SCAM ADVISORY: PHONE NUMBER SPOOFING. We have received reports that scammers are spoofing the Singapore Consulate-General's phone number to make fraudulent calls. If you receive an unexpected call claiming to be from the Consulate, do not disclose personal or financial information, including your identification number, passport information, bank account or credit card details, passwords, or one-time passwords (OTPs), to suspicious or unknown parties. If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from the Consulate-General, hang up and independently verify the call by contacting the Consulate-General at +84 28 3822 5174 or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore at +65 6379 8000.
